Renovate 2012

Dear Riverside Friend,

The 2012 Renovation is well under way! The decision to remodel the interior of our facility has come in the midst of considerable time spent in prayer and planning. The RCF facility is one of the greatest tools God has given us to reach the surrounding community and to build His church. I am convinced that the continued renovating will honor the Lord and facilitate faithfulness to our call to love others as we make the gospel known. The plan consists of four phases and we will complete one phase at a time, unless funds are available to allow us to do multiple phases simultaneously.

The overall objective is to accomplish more than a “face-lift”. For understandable reasons
we were stretched when we first retrofitted this facility. Our hope is to now upgrade the interior of just about everything. The only areas that are not addressed in this plan are the Youth and Children’s Church areas in the Student Center. These spaces were constructed several years after our initial build out. In addition, the bathrooms and kitchen area will not be renovated at this time.

This comes at a considerable savings as many church members and friends have offered to provide services and materials at a reduced cost. The completion of the overall plan will require the united effort of the entire Riverside family. It is unlikely that we will have success apart from individual sacrifice. However, we believe that God will abundantly provide the resources to complete this project. Undoubtedly, our joy will be great as God moves us forward toward the goal of improving the RCF building.
