Genesis 11 closes out our first major section of the 10 OT periods. Let’s review:

The Spread of Sin
We see here in chapter 11 the culmination of this last theme. Even after the flood we see that man’s heart sought glory (11:4) apart from God. The bible is telling a story. All of scripture builds upon the themes of these first 11 chapters, solidifying our universal problem with sin and overwhelming need for a Savior. Help is coming in the form of God’s promises in chapter 12!
